Our most popular Spanish course! You will have four fifty-minute Spanish lessons each morning at our small and friendly school. We cater for all levels of ability and can focus on the Spanish subjects you prefer. In the afternoons we go off to the Picos de Europa National Park and its surroundings, or to the stunning Costa Verde. Here you will use your Spanish and see the amazing landscapes and wildlife. The walks vary from week to week and throughout the year. Normally you will see vultures, kites and eagles and possibly some of the more rare birds and flora. We know the area and so we will take you off the beaten track. Some of the routes can be steep (it is the Picos de Europa!). However if you are happy walking about 10km in the hills you will have a great time. Please note that this itinerary can be flipped so you can be walking in the morning and in class in the afternoons.

This course runs every week from Monday to Friday. Weekends are free for you to explore the area on your own. We are available to give advice and help on what to do. The price includes:

Spanish intensive course with a maximum of six people, with enrolment, materials, level test if appropriate, notebook and pen. During the class hours, there is access to the school kitchen, with complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits.
Guided walks, Monday to Thursday.
Transport in the area to and from walk destinations.
Map of the area.
Advice on extra activities, travel, things to do over the weekend, etc.

You can learn Spanish in the mornings with us and spend the afternoons canoeing, canyoning, caving, doing a via ferrata, hiking or white-water rafting (or the other way round! This can change from week to week for operational reasons).

All equipment and local transport is provided. There is a height restriction for some of the activities and some are not for the faint-hearted, but they’re all are fun!

The price includes intensive Spanish course, transport, guide and equipment hire. Each of the activities is superb, and we can mix the week up as the group wishes. This course is ideal for families or even adults travelling alone. Under-18s must be accompanied by a parent or tutor.

Other activities, such as Yoga+Pilates, surfing or horse riding are available at a small extra charge.

The Camino de Santiago is one of the most famous, and well walked, pilgrim routes in the world. There are several recognised routes, and our school is located on the Northern path (Camino del Norte) and very near Camino Lebaniego and Vadiniense. We will teach you relevant Spanish in the mornings and take you to walk some of the classic sections of the Camino in the afternoons.  The sections you will walk are less steep than most in the Picos de Europa and all have great views. We might take an occasional rest to eat and try the traditional local cider and cheese. Please note that this itinerary can be flipped so you can be walking in the morning and in class in the afternoons. The price of the course includes:

A great way to improve your Spanish from the comfort of your own home. Personal tutor, all materials provided and no enrolment fee.

Online lessons are based on interaction and a combination of skills. For that, we normally use a video, an audio and a game in every lesson, as well as some exercises and a brief grammar explanation to get you started. The goal is to make it as varied and motivating as possible. We are flexible and always adapt the course to our students’ needs and interests. During the week, we’ll also give you some extra activities to cement what you learn in class. This usually includes a few exercises and a short film to enjoy some fiction in Spanish.
